Task -

The event now uses 24 licensed radios which have a better range than the previous ones. On test messages have been successfully sent between the event HQ and the long start marshalls. Thus the Radio Hub is in case of radio problems only and so it is expected that it will be redundant.

The Safety Advisor and the Radio Hub are at the mid-course bridge. The Starter is an Umpire. Another is at the mid course bridge.

First Aid are located in the facilities building. If the First Aid do not have a phone or radio, they can be contacted via the secretary or the race manager.

There will probably be another umpire as well as yourself at the Finish.

Race Monitors have mobile phones and most will have radios.

The race manager/ narrowboat lookout is posted at the rafts. Narrowboats sometimes disrupt racing.

Please feel free to suggest improvements to these notes.

Thank you for your help.
